Last weekend (March 1 & 2) was not a common one ... are there such? We spent time with friends of old (upcoming blog on them) and new.
Later on, having joined Tim and Annete we all went for delicious ice cream, probably one of the tallest any of us had seen in our entire life.
To round up the day, we all went to visit more friends to drink mate. It started to rain and we noticed the lightning was kind of reddish. Someone called and asked if we were fine. It was a strange question, but once we read the newspaper we knew why they were worried: two tornados "landed" on the Río de la Plata, something never seen here before. It happened very close to where we were... and we had not even noticed. Praise God, nothing happened to us.
