Oktoberbes? Alemania (Germany) y Bélgica (Belgium) at home in October

Michael (DE), Janelle&Mito, Anna (DE), Ana, Sueli (BE)

After a long time in silence, we are back!  We have been in Mexico for over five years nos - the longest in one place since we got married.  Our kids have grown and we.... have too :(.

We've been hosting traveling cyclists for a few years now (in part, it is to somehow return people's kindness to us when we were on the road a while ago).  We'll be presenting our guests and a bit more.

Nombres / Names

It was really hot here in Buenos Aires just a couple of days ago - 99ºF. So I had a beer in the afternoon that a good friend of mine had given me. It's a microbrew and it's really good. The problem was that when I thought of thanking my friend, I found it hard to find the right words in a way that the message would not be missunderstood.
I thought of:

  1. Thank you for the Sister.
  2. The Sister was delicious.
  3. I didn't know Sister was so good.
But all of these options could easily be misunderstood ... and without a doubt, I would face my wife's complaints. But, why would anyone give that name to a beer?
